WeWork ADSF

(Augmented Design Services Framework)

Built @ WeWork

The ADSF is a suite of cloud tools, services and clients which automated the non-fun parts of design. I.e. copying and pasting furniture and making sure things are spaced and lined up correctly.

How you ought to lay out a room with furniture is partly subjective and partly objective. The objective components are based on rules, those governing obstructions in spaces to ensure safe escape from fire, equal access for the disabled, amongst other factors.

WeWork’s Style Guide, the rulebook on how a WeWork should be designed and executed, took the objective frontier further than it has ever been in such a custom design operation.
